Sunday, May 19 Sunday was spent at the British Motorcyclists Federation
show outside Peterboro. Attendance figures
for the weekend were reported to be around eighty or ninety thousand.
First order of business was for the AMA group to attach our American
flags (supplied by Brenda) and ride in the parade of clubs,
representing the AMA. Then
Kate and I spent the rest of the day walking about shopping in the
vendors' booths, with an interruption to watch the "Flying Gunners"
exhibition motorcycle stunt team. I bought some nice riding gloves
and some lesser items, Kate got some waterproof riding boots, which
saw a lot of use in the subsequent days' riding.
