Walked into town and visited Salisbury Cathedral, took the official guided tour. Had lunch in the Cathedral cafeteria, which was quite good and reasonably priced. Returned to the B&B, packed up, and rode a short distance out of town to visit Old Sarum, the original site of the Salisbury settlement.

Left Old Sarum and rode to Wells, where we checked into a randomly chosen B&B. Walked into town and had dinner at the City Pub. Yorkshire pudding for me and a salmon salad for Kate.

Weather clear all day.
